Environment & Community Praxis -- 10th Anniversary (1998-2008)
'Let us design to make the world work for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone.''You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.'
~ R. Buckminster Fuller (1980)

Welcome to our web portal -- and thank you for helping extend our 10 years of innovation for Social Work and sustainable communities! We collaborate on design projects that engage people and integrate systems in service of affordable, healthy homes and communities. Interests in social work for social change, food security, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy systems, waste recycling & composting (to name a few) are often pursued. Go here for more details. BTW, our solar home is also the 2nd in Washington State to use the super-efficient, zero-emission Hallowell Acadia All-Climate Heat Pump. Go here for info. As you might guess, our website is a toolbox of global ideas and local resources. We would enjoy hearing from you. __________________________ Via the Solar Oven Society. __________________________
